Production and properties of high-strength cast irons in the cast state
Vávrová, Veronika ; Pernica, Vítězslav (referee) ; Kaňa, Václav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on production of high-strength cast iron in the cast state, where the heat treatment is not needed. In the first part there is a description of possible structures of ductile iron. Then the production of heat treated high-strength ductile iron and the production of high-strength ductile iron in the cast state are presented. There is an experiment included to demonstrate the possibility of this technology.
Interaction of Lanthanide trichlorides with the construction materials of a purification apparatus
Novotný, Radoslav ; Zmrzlý, Martin (referee) ; Richtera, Lukáš (advisor)
Lanthanide halides LnX3 are the base material for preparation a different compounds, but also the pure metals. Our faculty is used for the syntesis organometallic catalyst. This compounds are very sensitive to the presence of moisture and oxygen. Lanthanide halides are commercially available in anhydrous or hydrated form. This thesis is devided eight chapters and deals with matherial of the apparatus, which is designed to sublimation of anhydrous lanthanide halides. Initial chapters described the properties and preparation this substances. Following are on the sublimation and corrosion materials. In the last chapter is the skeleton sketch, layout and a availability parts of construction. The aim of this work was to create theoretical basis of construction aparatus and commissioning.
Preparation of 2D heterostructures
Ředina, Dalibor ; Hrabovský, Miloš (referee) ; Bartoš, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis refers about preparation of 2D hetestructures here at the IPE, BUT. The first theoretical part deals with properties of graphene, molybdenum disulfide and 2D heterostructures in general. Comprehensive overview is provided by basic facts about properties and allotropic modifications of carbon. Next part of this thesis outlines methods used in the fabrication of heterostructures and highlights presumably the best one. Experimental part deals with optimization of this method. Successive steps of this method are improved by various adjustments in order to achieve the highest success rate in the fabrication of these heterostructures. Result of this approach is stated in this thesis.
High temperature corosion of SiMo type ductile iron
Viskupič, Adam ; Kaňa, Václav (referee) ; Roučka, Jaromír (advisor)
While using iron castings behind temperature of 500 C namely at cyclic heat straining degradation of structure and breaching iron castings. For this purpose introduce cast iron with content of Si and Mo. Focusing on improvement of SiMo51 for increased high-temmperature corrosion-and fatigue life in exhaust-gas temperatures up to 800 C. Thesis set up chemical microheterogeneity, properties, high temperature corosion and microhardness

Geochemistry of risk elements in areas affected by mining and processing of polymetallic ores - Namibia, Africa
Skipalová, Klára ; Borůvka, Luboš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to understand how mining and processing of polymetallic ores in areas Kombat and Berg Aukas of Namibia may affect the geochemistry and behavior of hazardous elements (selenium and molybdenum), especially then their mobility and bioavailability in the soil environment and consequently assess their potential hazardous properties and factors affecting them.

Mimokořenová výživa B, Zn a Mo u kořenové zeleniny
Očenášková, Květa
There are many external and internal factors which influence the quality and yields of vegetables. Counted among the external factors is nutrition and fertilisation which are an integral part of growing technologies. Without sufficient and balanced supply of acceptable nutrients the plants are not capable of achieving high quality and yields. Among the essential nutrients we also count micro biogenic elements. Although vegetables require only small amounts, their importance is equal to nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other macro elements. The first part of the bachelor dissertation thesis maps the present information about the importance of some micro nutrients (B, Zn, Mo) in the nutrition of vegetables. In a two-year vegetation experiment we explored the effect of foliar applications of some micro elements on their content in radish plants and on the yields of the edible part of this root vegetable. The experiment was established as a pot experiment in soil culture. During vegetation we applied the nutrients at graded rates. The effect of the foliar application was evaluated on the basis of analyses of the plant mass and yield parameters. The results showed that foliar nutrition with micro nutrients increased their contents namely in the leaves, but also in the radish roots. Fertilisation had a significant effect on the yields of whole plants in a similar way as on the edible roots. Supplementary fertilisation with the micro nutrients increased roots yields by 7,0 to 46%. Zinc at a rate equal to an application of 700 g Zn.ha-1 had a statistically significant effect on the production of radish roots. Radish yields increased significantly also after the application of molybdenum at a rate equal to 62.5 g Mo.ha-1.
